Ruth Ann (Harper) Ledsome

Ruth Ann Ledsome, 59 of West Milford passed away on Thursday, January 17, 2019 at her residence.  She was born August 9, 1959 in Clarksburg, daughter of the late George Harper and Virginia Hickman Harper Barrett.  Ruth graduated from Liberty High School Class of 1978.  She worked at Merrick on the assembly line, ResCare as an Aide and was a waitress for Shoney’s for many years.  She loved to write and had an article published. She loved to spend time with her grandchildren and drink coffee.  She is survived by her two children, Amanda Kay Kennedy and husband Bart, and Ryan Joseph Ledsome and wife Kayla all of Clarksburg; six grandchildren, Bartholomew, Bryan, Brookelynn, Kylee, Rhyelynn, Maddie; seven siblings, Mike Harper, Roger Harper, Ronnie Welch, Charlie Hickman, Virgil Barrett, Steve Harper all of West Milford, Celestine Merkel of OH; step-father, Arthur Burkhammer, West Milford; numerous nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Randy Harper. Family will receive friends at Davis Funeral Home, 124 Olen Thomas Dr., Clarksburg on Friday, January 25, 2019 from 4pm until time of the Memorial Service at 7:00pm in the Davis Funeral Chapel.
