Rosemary "Rosie" Gutierrez

Rosemary "Rosie" Gutierrez, 66 of Clarksburg passed away on Saturday, December 1, 2019 at United Hospital Center with family by her side. She was born November 6, 1953 in Clarksburg, WV, daughter of the late Albert Gutierrez and Mary Ellen Workman Watkins.

Rosie was a homemaker, and her hobbies were collecting angels, riding horses, reading her bible and being around all animals. 

She is survived by her daughter, Tammy Linn Leasure and fiancé, Dennis Gibson Jr. Springfield, OH; grandchildren, Miles Andrew Rochester and wife Sheena, Cary Don Allen Hill, Levi Loverin, Tori Loverin and Thomas Gillispie; three great grandchildren, siblings, Bobby Lee “Buck” Gutierrez and Sue Murphy Clarksburg, Tommy Lee Gutierrez, Salem, Carmelita “Susie” Workman, Clarksburg; special nieces, Mary Ellen Workman and Samantha Frazier; special nephew, Bobby Lee Gutierrez Jr; special cousins, Josh Yoders, Terijen Greaver and Emma Yoders; additional nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Sharon Cokley and Rosemary’s lifelong companion, Aubra Lawrence Ash.

Family will receive friends at Davis Funeral Home, 124 Olen Thomas Dr., Clarksburg, on Thursday, December 5, 2019 from 4:00–7:00pm.  Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel of Davis Funeral Home on Friday, December 6, 2019 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Aaron Kayton. Interment will follow at Hephzibah Cemetery.
