Roger Allen McCarty

Roger Allen McCarty, 56 of Lost Creek, passed away on Wednesday April 24, 2019 at his residence. He was born December 13, 1962 Clarksburg, WV; the son of the late John William McCarty and Virginia Carol Jenkins.

Roger graduated from Clay-Battelle High School, Class of 1981. He served his country in the US Army National Guard. Roger enjoyed being outdoors. He was an avid fisherman, especially trout fishing. He loved hunting, woodworking, camping, and most of all, spending time with his family and friends. Roger was very talented at construction, and he could build anything. 

Roger is survived by, Sharmon Gallo and husband Santino whom was like his daughter; three siblings, Tammy Smith and husband Ed, Lost Creek, Rich McCarty and wife Cheryl, Wadestown and Monica Maur and husband George, Ravenna, OH; nieces and nephews, Jeni Wilson and husband Mike, their children, Katerina and Isaiah, Johnny Lee Allen Fury and Meredith, their children, Gage and Gavin, Kevin James Fury and wife Kacie, their children, Kali and Kinley, Lacey Jane McCarty, Bethany McCarty and daughter, Paige, Tyler McCarty and wife Stephanie and Logan Maur; step mother, Dorthy McCarty, OH; several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Family will receive friends at Davis Funeral Home, 124 Olen Thomas Dr., Clarksburg, on Saturday, April 27, 2019 from 2-8pm.
