Robert "Bob" William Kovar

Robert “Bob” William Kovar, 59 of Clarksburg passed away on Thursday, October 24, 2019. He was born March 28, 1960 in Clarksburg, son of the late Frank Joseph Kovar and Mary Jones.  Bob had worked as an electrician for many years, last working for WV Electric.  His hobbies were hunting, fishing and working on cars.  Bob is survived by his wife of thirty six years, Rebecca “Becky” Cottrill Kovar; three children, Robert “Billy” William Kovar II, Timothy “Timmy” Randal Kovar, and Amy Rose Stire all of Clarksburg; five siblings, Frank Kovar and Kelly, Lumberport, Sue Reese, Waynesburg, PA, Felix Kovar and Raelou, Michael “Mike” Kovar and Jeremy Kovar all of Clarksburg; several nieces and nephews.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son-in-law, Zeke Stire; two siblings, James Jones and Amy Rochelle; two brother-in-law's, Greg Rochelle and Dale Reese. Family will receive friends at Davis Funeral Home, 124 Olen Thomas Dr., Clarksburg, on Monday, October 28, 2019 from 3:00 until 8:00 PM. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 29, 2019 at Davis Funeral Home at 11:00 AM with Pastor DJ Hoff officiating. Interment will follow at Kovar Cemetery.
