Richard Shinn Obituary
Richard Allen Shinn, 64 of Clarksburg, passed away on Monday, November 18, 2019 at his residence. He was born August 22, 1955 in Clarksburg, son of the late William E and Charlotte A Morton Shinn.
Richard was a laborer and retired from Anchor Hocking.
He is survived by two children, Nicole Lee Singleton and Wilber, Michael Shinn all of Clarksburg; two granddaughters, Tyanna and Tamira Singleton; siblings, Shirley A Shinn Quertinmont, GA, Virginia R Marshall and John of Bridgeport; Betty Gallo of Good Hope and Mararet A “Peggy” Bennett, Clarksburg; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Richard is preceded in death by siblings, Thomas Shinn, Patricia Jo “Patty” Starkey and Charles Shinn.
Graveside services will be held on Monday, December 2, 2019 at 11:00 AM at the West Virginia National Cemetery where full military honors will be accorded by the Taylor County Honor Guard and the US Army.
