Patricia "Pat" Rose (Pumphrey) Claypool

Patricia “Pat” Rose Claypool, 69 of Stonewood passed away on Thursday, November 21, 2019 at United Hospital Center. She was born December 31, 1949 in Philadelphia, PA, daughter of the late Toy and Antoinette Derico Pumphrey.

Pat is survived by her husband of fifty one years, Robert “Bobby” Willard Claypool; two children, Robert Bradley Claypool, Clarksburg and Keith Allan Claypool, Stonewood; six grandchildren, Cheyanne Dakota Claypool, Tyler Keith Claypool, Kaleigh Dawn Arnold and Nicholas, Meghan Eileen Starkey and Colton, McKalyn Jo Claypool  and Mason Keith Claypool; four great grandchildren, Ella Rose, Laken, Paisley and Londyn; like a son, Donald Ray Claypool and his children, Donald, Latisha, Drome; four brothers, Elzie Pumphrey and his wife LuAnn of Sun Valley, Richard Pumphrey and his wife Diane of North View, John Pumphrey and his wife Sarah of Salem, and Jimmy Pumphrey and his wife Bonnie of North View; and one sister, Debbie Collins North View; father-in-law,
Robert W Claypool; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In addition to her parents, Pat was preceded in death by one grandson, Bradley Claypool II; brother, Joseph Michael Pumphrey.

Pat enjoyed cooking, bingo and loved spending time with the grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Family will receive friends at Davis Funeral Home, 124 Olen Thomas Dr., Clarksburg, on Monday, November 25, 2019 from 2:00 until 8:00 PM. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 26, 2019 at Davis Funeral Home at 11:00 AM with Pastor Tim Sandy officiating. Interment will follow at WV National Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to her Funeral Care Fund on her memorial page.
