Melody Ann (Kirkpatrick) Wiant

Melody Ann Wiant, 63 of Clarksburg, passed away on Tuesday, October 1, 2019 at the Clarksburg Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.  She was born July 26, 1956 in Clarksburg, the daughter of the late William T and Helen M Swisher Kirkpatrick.

Melody is survived by her daughter, Lori J Starkey and husband Richie, West Union, three grandchildren, Brooklyne and companion Samantha, Makenzie, and Emmalee; two sisters, Joyce Clifton and husband Steven, Jane Lew, Linda Carlos of Columbus, OH; very very close friend, Paula Kay Gainer Altman, Clarksburg, and several nieces and nephews.

Melody graduated from WI High School, Class of 1974. She was a waitress for The Lunch Box in Clarksburg. She was always known for the infectious smile and positive attitude.

Family will receive friends at St Mark’s Lutheran Church, 1766 Milford Street, Clarksburg on Thursday, October 3, 2019 from 12:30 PM until time of the Funeral services at 1:30 PM with Pastor Linda Muhly officiating.
