Marie (Kerns) Hildreth

Marie Hildreth, 84 of Clarksburg passed away on Monday, April 16, 2018 at Meadowview Manor. She was born September 10, 1934 in Morgantown; the daughter of the late Albert and Libby (Mayle) Kerns.

Marie is survived by her daughter, Laura L Seamone, Clarksburg; son, Dennis Dale Hildreth and wife, Pam, Thornton; nine grandchildren, Brian Hildreth and wife Elizabeth, Chris Hildreth, Kevin Hildreth, Ashley Seamone, Jessica Seamone, Courtney Alkire and husband Jeremy, J.J. Hildreth, Matt Hildreth, Joey Hildreth; nine great grandchildren; Emily, Isaac, Caleb, Savanna, Alexa, Natalie, Dalton, Joshua, and one on the way; one sister.

In addition to her parents, Marie is preceded in death by her husband, Zale Daniel Hildreth on November 20, 1984; one son, Zennith Zale Hildreth; three brothers, Charles, Lloyd and Lawrence Kerns; one sister, Edith Austin.

Marie was a waitress with Shoney’s for many years and worked last worked at Seaton’s Nursing Home.  She enjoyed Bingo, Cooking, Baking and Gardening. 

Family will receive friends at Davis Funeral Home, 124 Olen Thomas Drive, Clarksburg, on Thursday, April 19 2018 from 3-7pm; Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel of Davis Funeral Home on Friday, April 20, 2018 at 11am with Pastor Richard Settles presiding. Interment will follow at Bridgeport Cemetery.
