Margaret "Peggy" Elizabeth (Schertzinger) Tassos

Margaret Elizabeth “Peggy” Tassos, age 85 of Clarksburg, WV passed away on Sunday, April 8, 2018 at her residence. She was born October 17, 1932 in Pittsburgh, PA; the daughter of the late Ralph N. Schertzinger and Lillian M. (Welling) Schertzinger.

Peggy is survived by her children, Ted  Tassos & his wife, Donna of New Kinsington, PA, Gloria Tassos of Clarksburg, WV, Beth Chaddock & her husband, Chuck of Troy, VA, Chris Tassos & his wife, Inday of Clarksburg, WV and Michael Tassos & his wife, Brandi of Meadowbrook, WV; seven grandchildren, Amy Castrillon & her husband, Hamilton, Steve Tassos, David Tassos & his wife, Lauren, Ashley Riley & her husband, Matt, Christopher Chaddock, Greg Tassos and Jennifer Tassos; five great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Peggy was preceded in death by her husband, Ted Tassos, who died on July 28, 1999; and a brother, Ralph Schertzinger.

Peggy retired after 15 years of service from Northwestern Mutual as the office manager. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.

Family will receive friends at Davis Funeral Home, 124 Olen Thomas Dr., Clarksburg, on Wednesday, April 11, 2018 from 3:00 – 8:00 pm, where a Catholic vigil rites will be held at 7:30 pm to conclude the visitation; Catholic Funeral Liturgy will be held at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church on Thursday, April 12, 2018 at 10:00 am with Father Casey Mahone, presiding. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery
