Madge Treclare Davis

Madge Treclare Davis, 64 of Sardis, passed away on Thursday, November 7, 2019 at the United Hospital Center. She was born March 30, 1955 in Erie, PA; the daughter of the late Donald Jackson and Artlene Evelyn Houser Davis.

Madge is survived by one daughter, Tracy Cokeley and companion Donald Miller of Clarksburg; five grandchildren, Dominigue Cokeley and companion Jamile Allen, Thomas “Mikey” Holloway, Nathaniell Miller, Amirah Miller and Donald Flachbart; one great granddaughter, Stori Cokeley; two sisters, Jackie Blair and husband Gary of Bristol, TN and Heidi Davis of Norfolk, VA; two nieces, Anastasia Clousson and Alexandra Clousson; one nephew, Thomas Beverly. 

In addition to her parents, Madge is preceded in death by her brother, Donald Dexter Davis.

Madge graduated from Victory High School where she played in the band. She went on to get her Associates Degree in Business. Madge was a Store Manager currently for Dollar Tree; previously she was a caregiver and worked at Lowes.  She loved butterflies, diamond art and puzzles.  She was a red headed fire cracker that let you know how she felt. Madge was a maternal figure for many. She was loved and will be missed by many. 

Family will receive friends at Davis Funeral Home, 124 Olen Thomas Dr, Clarksburg, on Monday, November 11, 2019 from 3:00PM until time of Funeral Service at 7:00PM with Rev Gary Layfield officiating. Graveside service will be held on Tuesday, November 12, 2019 at 12 Noon at Coplin Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Funeral Care Fund on her memorial page on our website.
