Mark Alan Young

Mark Alan Young, age 56 of Clarksburg, WV passed away on Sunday, February 4, 2018 at his residence, surrounded by his family. He was born March 15, 1961 in Clarksburg, WV; the son of the late Robert Young and Rose Marie (Hershberger) Young.

Mark is survived by his sister, Marla A. Young (Jimmy) of Fairmont, WV; his companion, Joyce Moore and family  of Simpson, WV; two uncles, Fred Smith of Clarksburg, WV, John Hershberger of Cumberland, MD; several cousins.

Mark worked for the City of Clarksburg in the street maintenance department. He was a member of the VFW Post 573. He enjoyed watching football and basketball on television.

Family will receive friends at Davis Funeral Home, 124 Olen Thomas Dr., Clarksburg, on Wednesday, February 7, 2018 from 2:00 – 7:00 pm; Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel of Davis Funeral Home on Thursday, February 8, 2018 at 11:00 am with Pastor Dustin McCune, presiding. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
