Joshua Shane Runyon

Joshua “Josh” Shane Runyon, 29 of Lost Creek, WV left this life to go on his new journey on May 26, 2019.

Josh was born June 2, 1989 in Clarksburg, the youngest son of Daniel and Heather Runyon of Lost Creek.

He left behind his lifelong love, Shana Frazier and three beautiful children, Natalie Grace Runyon, Mackenleigh Jayde Runyon and Joshua Shane Runyon II, all of Lost Creek; one brother, Jeremiah Runyon and Matthew Emrick of Los Angeles, CA; grandparents, Darrell and Shirley Runyon Lost Creek and Patricia and Chuck Marcou of Arnoldsburg, WV; the family dogs Bella and Sassy; and close family friend, Duke Pratt, Bridgeport; several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Josh is preceded in death by one uncle, Brian Allen; two grandfathers, Walter “Hap” Allen and Ralph H. Keith, Jr.

Josh graduated from South Harrison High School, Class of 2007.  Josh was a welder by trade. He started out as a boiler maker when he was seventeen years old and he then crossed over to be a pipeline welder. Josh was a very hardworking and loving man. He loved his family dearly. He loved to spoil his children with love and gifts. He was a wonderful daddy. Josh loved riding dirt bikes, four wheelers and dune buggies with his friends and family. He loved to hill climb and watch others ride also. Josh is going to be deeply missed by his family and friends. We all love and will miss Josh. He will remain close in our hearts.

As Josh requested, he was an organ donor and has saved many lives.

Family will receive friends at Davis Funeral Home, 124 Olen Thomas Dr., Clarksburg, on Friday, May 31, 2019 from 1-8PM; Funeral Services will be held at Davis Funeral Home on Saturday, June 1, 2019 at 11:00AM with Pastor Bobby Kern presiding. Interment will follow at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
