Joseph Leroy Woods

Joseph Leroy Woods, age 56 of Bridgeport, passed away on Monday November 12th 2018. Joseph passed away peacefully at UHC surrounded by his loving wife, family, and friends. Joe was born June 14th, 1962 in Parkersburg, WV. Joseph is the son of the late George Stephen Woods and the Rev. Ramona Jean Wallace Woods.

Joseph is survived by his wife Erin Renee Murphy-Woods and their six beautiful children. Alicia D. Woods of Parkersburg, WV, Michael J. Woods of State College, PA, Jada L. Woods of Bridgeport, WV, Sierra R. Owens of Pittsburgh, PA, Mykal K.W. Owens of Clarksburg, WV, and Sydney S. Owens of Bridgeport, WV.

Joe is also survived by two brothers, Albert L. “Buddy” Davis and his wife Jane of Sacramento, CA. and Aaron E. Davis of Bridgeport, WV, and his girlfriend Nancy Kemper of Weston, WV. He is also survived by one aunt, Juanita Cooper-Medlin.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. The family will notify.
