Johnnie Alfred Everett Jr, 68 of Clarksburg passed away on Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at the Louis A Johnson VA Medical Center. He was born September 1, 1950 at Elizabeth City, NC, the son of the late Johnnie Alfred Everett Sr. and Irene O’Nell Overton Everett

Johnnie graduated from Great Bridge High School in Chesapeake, VA, Class of 1969. He was a US Army Veteran serving during Vietnam. He retired as a hotel manager from Holiday Inn.

Johnnie is survived by his two sisters, Delores Diane Mize and husband Harold, Jonesboro, AR, and Beverly Lynn Arthur and husband Ronald, Chesapeake, VA; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Johnnie is preceded in death by one sister, Pam Tripp.

A graveside service will be held at the West Virginia National Cemetery Tuesday December 18, 2018 at 2:00pm. Military honors will be accorded by the VFW Memorial City Post #3081, American Legion Taylor County Post #12, Central WVA DAV Chapter 24, and their Auxiliaries, and the Army National Honor Guard.
