John Raymond Myers

John Raymond Myers, 62 of Clarksburg passed away on Thursday, November 8, 2018. He was born April 5, 1956 at his residence; the son of the late Vinson Burl and Virginia Lee Bunch Myers.

John was in The US Army. He worked as a correctional officer for North Central Regional Jail for several years. He enjoyed hunting, working on electronics, collecting watches and trinkets. 

John is survived by his two sons, Steven Myers, Clarksburg, John R Myers II, West Milford; one grandson, Drake Malcomb; three sisters, Sharon Petry, Brenda Collins and Sheila Gain and her husband Tim; all of Clarksburg; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, John is preceded in death by his brother James Burl “Jim” Myers.

Family will receive friends at Davis Funeral Home, 124 Olen Thomas Dr., Clarksburg, on Friday, November 16, 2018 from 3:00pm until time of Funeral Service at 6:00pm with Reverend Patty Hebb presiding.
