John "Tony" Flagle

John “Tony” Bernard Flagle, Jr., 81, of Lumberport, WV passed away Tuesday, January 9, 2018 at his residence.  He was born January 27, 1936 in Sardis, WV; son of the late John Bernard, Sr. and Martha Gaines Flagle.

Tony is survived by his wife, Sarah Daniels Flagle; three daughters, Kathy Newkirk of Lumberport, WV, Karin Flagle of Harrisonburg, VA, Karmin Wheeler of Lumberport, WV; son, Karlin Flagle of Lumberport, WV; five grandchildren, Jordan, Trinity, Jamie, Aaron, DJ; two great grandchildren, Malayah and Khloe; daughter-in-law, Pam Flagle of North Carolina.  He was preceded in death by a son, Kevin Flagle.

Tony served in the US Navy.  He was the owner of Koney’s Bar and Grill; he coached Jerry West and Wallace Little League.  Tony was also a scout leader.

Family will receive friends at Davis Funeral Home, Rt. 98, Clarksburg, WV on Friday, January 12, 2018 from 3:00-7:00 pm; funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 13, 2018 at Noon with Pastor John Pritchard, presiding.  Interment will follow in Greenlawn Masonic Cemetery.
