Jeffrey Lynn Phillips

Jeffrey Lynn Phillips, 60 of Thornton formerly of Fairmont passed away on Saturday, January 19, 2019 at Rosewood Center, Grafton. He was born August 25, 1958 in Fairmont, son of the late James Milford and Loleta Josephine Cornwell Phillips.  Jeff worked for the Marion County Board of Education as a Custodian.  He was an outdoorsman and loved hunting deer and fishing.  He collected knives and guns.  He loved spending time with the grandchildren and eating candy. He is survived by five children, Amber Lynn Rowell and husband Joshua, Geoffrey A Phillips and wife Betty, Brent J Phillips and companion Katrina, Joel Phillips all of Fairmont, Levi Lambert, Dayton, OH; six grandchildren, BreAnna and Addison Rowell, Isabella, Allison and Braelynn Phillips, Tyler Rowell and wife Lindsay, Fairmont; two sisters, Mary Lee Nestor and husband George, Judy Kay Pourbaix and husband Gary all of Fairmont; numerous nieces and nephews.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Roger Lee “Ricky” Phillips.  Family will receive friends at Davis Funeral Home, 124 Olen Thomas Dr, Clarksburg on Wednesday, January 23, 2019 from 4PM until time of the Funeral Service at 7:00PM in the Davis Funeral Chapel with Pastor Edward Carpenter.
