Howard "Rusty" Charles Mall

Howard "Rusty" Charles Mall, 72 of Hepzibah, passed away on Tuesday, December 10, 2019 at United Hospital Center after a brief illness. He was born October 15, 1947 in Clarksburg, WV; the son of the late Julius and Irene Casper Mall.

Rusty is survived by his longtime companion, Nancy “Levi” Ellis; three sisters, Miriam “Mickey” Mall Nardella and husband Mike, Clarksburg, Harriet Mall of Ayden, NC, and Kathy Holmes also of Clarksburg; sister-in-law, Monica Capozzi, Clarksburg and brother-in-law, Angelo Capozzi and his wife Laura, Bridgeport; nieces and nephews, Angela Fratt and Jason, Bridgeport, Nathan Nardella and Nicole, Clarksburg, Rickie Holmes, Clarksburg, Beth Nardella and husband Aaron Behnke, Morgantown, Matt Capozzi and Buffie, Shinnston and Tori Capozzi Barker and Jack, Asheville, NC; great nieces and nephews, Troy Lowther and wife Jenna, Ashton, Gracie, Jackson and Lillian Nardella, Zadie Behnke, Karmendi, Caroline and Francesca Fratt.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Carmella Capozzi Mall in 2007.

Rusty held several offices and was an outstanding member of the Clarksburg Lions Club.  He enjoyed bicycling and spending time with his nieces and nephews. Rusty was employed at Jerry’s Auto, The Workingman’s Store and the office Manager of the Enlarged Hepzibah P.S.D. for over forty years. He was an active lifetime member of The Tree of Life Synagogue. Rusty played the Rabbi in Fiddler on the Roof, a play he dearly loved.    

Family will receive friends at Davis Funeral Home, 124 Olen Thomas Dr., Clarksburg, on Wednesday, December 11, 2019 from 4:00 until 7:00 PM and on Thursday, December 12, 2019 from 10:00 AM until time of service at 11:00 AM with Rabbi Joseph Hample officiating.
