Gladys D. (Riddle) Morris

Gladys Deloris Morris, age 83 of Clarksburg, WV passed away on Monday, November 27, 2017 at Unite Hospital Center, surrounded by her family. She was born December 9, 1933 in Clarksburg, WV; the daughter of the late Arkie Riddle and Cora (Dodd) Riddle.

Gladys is survived by her children, Donna Stickle & her companion, Kenny Prunty of Clarksburg, WV, Ronald Flint & his wife, Pam of Pennsylvania, Donald Flint & his companion, Shirley Cochran of Clarksburg, WV, Brenda Fragmin & her husband, Tony of Clarksburg, WV, Tammy Morris & her friend David McIntyre of Salem, WV, and Doug Morris of Clarksburg, WV; fourteen grandchildren; several great grandchildren, great great grandchildren and great great great grandchildren; a brother, Wesley Riddle of Clarksburg, WV; a niece, Cora Frances of Oklahoma.

In addition to her parents, Gladys was preceded in death by her two husbands, Donald Flint and Lawrence J. ”Larry” Morris; a grandson, Roy Wayne Hyre, Jr; two sisters, Minnie Edmonson and Hazel Riddle; two brothers, Carl Riddle & his wife, Leona and Thomas Riddle; and a sister-in-law, Mary Riddle.

Gladys worked for Lockheed Martin for ten years and she also worked for Minard’s. She was a member of the Life Way bible Fellowship. Gladys was an avid Steelers fan and liked to play Bingo, and listen to Gospel Music. She loved spending time with her family, friends and her pet bird, Harley..

Family will receive friends at Davis Funeral Home, 124 Olen Thomas Dr., Clarksburg, on Thursday, November 30, 2017 from 2:00 – 7:00 pm; Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel of Davis Funeral Home on Friday, December 1, 2017 at 11:00 am with Pastor Tom Horne, presiding. Interment will follow at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
