Frances Virginia (Flannery) Serafini

Frances Virginia Serafini, age 87 of Clarksburg, WV passed away on Thursday, March 1, 2018 at her residence, surrounded by her family. She was born May 25, 1930 in Clarksburg, WV; the daughter of the late Pearl Flannery and Dona May (Clutter) Flannery.

Frances is survived by her son, William Leon of Clarksburg, WV & his companion , Barbara Henderson of Morgantown, WV; a daughter, Tonya Stevens & her husband, David of Clarksburg, WV; six grandchildren, Julie Leon of Clarksburg, WV, Jeff Leon & his wife, Hillary of Salem, WV, Melissa Reid & her husband, Kevin of Bridgeport, WV, Tim Leon & his wife, Tracy of Lake Floyd, Greg Stevens & his wife, Ivy of Clarksburg, WV, and Melanie Stevens of Clarksburg, WV; nine great grandchildren, Presley Carlyde, Taylor Leon, Tianna Leon, Trenton Leon, Charlotte Leon, Caroline Leon, Caleb Stevens, Connor Stevens and Carter Stevens; two sisters, Jerry Simon & her husband, Tom of Bridgeport, WV and Betty Ribas of Bridgeport, WV.

In addition to her parents, Frances is preceded in death by her three brothers, Ben, Richard and Ralph Flannery; and a sister, Dorothy Jones.

Frances retired from Eagle Convex as an inspector after 35 years of service. She was a member of the United Methodist Temple.

Family will receive friends at Davis Funeral Home, 124 Olen Thomas Dr., Clarksburg, on Monday, March 5, 2018 from 10:00 am until the time of the funeral service at 1:00 pm with Pastor Dustin McCune, presiding. Interment will follow at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
