Earl Camdon “Cam” Scott, 76, of Gassaway passed away on Sunday, 22 September 2019, at the Louis A Johnson VA Medical Center in Clarksburg WV. He was born 12 November 1942 at Two Run, Clay WV, son of the late James Roy and Gladys Duffield Scott.
Cam graduated from Clay WV High School in 1961. In 1962, he joined the United States Air Force and served his country for four years as an aircraft mechanic. Cam returned to WV where he met and later married Myrtle Jane McGlothlin on 26 Jan 1969. He retired from Morris Controls as a machinist with over 30 years of service. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his wife; his sister, Margaretta Cottrell of Cuyahoga Falls OH; sister-in-law, Barbara Scott of Fola WV; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Cam was preceded in death by his brothers, Roy Junior Scott and wives, Edna and Betty; William Glenn Scott; James Kenneth Scott and wife, Mildred; John Franklin Scott; Dencil Danna Scott, Denvil Delano Scott; brother-in-law, Kenneth Cottrell.
