Dorothy May (Roach) Wetzel

Dorothy May Wetzel, 85 of Wolf Summit Community passed away on Tuesday, November 26, 2019 at United Hospital Center

She was born January 6, 1934 in Clarksburg; daughter of the late Hayward B and Madge Roach.

Dorothy is survived by one daughter, Rhonda Sendling of Wolf Summit; four sons, Davy L. Wetzel, Jr. and wife Vickie of Salem, Randall Wetzel and companion Melinda Shields of Bridgeport, Barry Wetzel and wife Connie of Halls Run, Kevin Wetzel and companion Twila Bartlett of Clarksburg; daughter-in-law, Debbie Wetzel of Clarksburg; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband Davy Lee Wetzel Sr. on July 22, 2015; one son, Jeff Wetzel; one daughter-in-law, Sandy Wetzel; one brother, Eugene Roach; one sister, Sue Greathouse.

Dorothy graduated from Bristol High School. She was a transport aide in the Physical Therapy Department for over fifteen years at United Hospital Center.  She enjoyed cooking, baking, and going fishing and making crafts with her husband.

Family will receive friends at Davis Funeral Home, Rt. 98, Clarksburg/Nutter Fort, on Monday, December 2, 2019 from 10:00 AM until time of funeral service at 1:00 PM with Pastor Richard Settles Officiating.  Interment will follow at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
