Donnie Gene Harper

Donnie Gene Harper, 64, of Clarksburg passed away on July 27, 2017 at his residence with family by his side. He was born September 19, 1952 in Clarksburg, son of Charles Harper, Orlando, FL and the late Mary Harper. He worked for Harvey Glass and last at the Meadowbrook Mall in Maintenance. He is survived by three children, Amanda D Gaines and Tim, Clarksburg, Ashley D Harper and Charles Efaw, Farmington, Dawn Nicole Harper, Grayson, LA; six grandchildren, Chastity, Dayton and Shelby, Ahala, Raiden, Hostel and Mathis; great granddaughter, Sophia; two brothers, Ronnie Harper, Clarksburg, Rickie Harper, Orlando, FL; one sister, Sheila Shockley, Orlando, FL. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sharon Ann Anderson Harper; one brother, Randy Harper; one sister, Pamela Harper. Donnie loved to collect anything and everything. He would tinker on whatever needed fixed. Family will receive friends at Davis Funeral Home, 124 Olen Thomas Dr., Clarksburg, on Saturday, July 29, 2017 from 3:00pm until the time of service at 7:00pm with Pastor Richard Settles presiding.
