Dianna Lynn (Shipley) Cruz

Dianna Lynn Cruz, 55 of Clarksburg passed away on Saturday, August 11, 2018 at the Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Sale, NC. She was born June 26, 1963 in Clarksburg, WV; the daughter of Frank Delno Shipley, his wife Robin of Clarksburg, and the late Norma “Irene” Huff-Shipley VanReenan.

Dianna graduated from Liberty High School in the Class of 1981 where people may remember her from her many theater performances. She attended Fairmont State University. Dianna was self-employed with Market America, selling online cosmetics and wellness products. Her love of cosmetics and beauty lead her to pursue a license in massage and cosmetology at Clarksburg Beauty Academy

In addition to her father, Dianna is survived by her three children, Natasha Dawn Kiani, Clarksburg, Cesar Alexander “Alex” Cruz, Gaithersburg, MD, and Jose “Adam” Cruz of Morgantown; two grandchildren, Naomi and Elijah; one brother, Mark Shipley of Morgantown; and two sisters, Sharon “Shari” Shipley-Marsh, PA and Jeri VanReenan, Silver Spring, MD; her nephews, Greg and Tyler and her Niece, Sierra

A celebration of life service will be held Sunday, August 19, 2018 at 1:30 pm at the Word of Life Assembly of God in Sun Valley with Pastor George Mesto presiding.
