Danny Morgan Fox

Vietnam Veteran Danny Morgan Fox 74 of Clarksburg passed away on Thursday, May 23, 2019, at 6:30 a.m. at home with his son, Mark McCollough, and Danny’s wife of twenty three years, Shirley J Fox, by his side. He was born March 4, 1945, in Clarksburg, son of the late John and Mary Ellen Roach Fox. He graduated from Victory High School in 1964. He was a US Army Veteran of the Vietnam War and was a POW.  He retired from the Local Carpenters Union #436. His hobbies were hunting, fishing and being outdoors.  He was member of the Clarksburg VFW Post 573 and American Legion Post 13.  In addition to his wife and son, he is survived by daughter Shannon Pearson and Michael, Smyrna, DE; one son, Kevin McCove of DE; several grandchildren; two sisters, Evelyn L. Romano, Cocoa Beach, FL, and Mrs. Gary (Judi A.) Boyce, Clarksburg; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one brother, John C Fox. A Celebration of Life will be held on June 22, 2019 at 1:00pm at the Clarksburg VFW Post 573, 430 W Pike Street, Clarksburg, WV 26301.
