Cordell Luckey Obituary

Cordell Donis Luckey, 85, of Stonewood, passed away on July 7, 2018 at Meadowview Manor, Bridgeport.  He was born May 14, 1933, in Enon, WV, Nicholas County, son of the late Cecil and Glena Russell Luckey.  Cordell graduated from Grafton High School.  He was in the US Navy serving during the Korean War on the USS Midway.  He retired from CONSOL Energy and Kroger’s of Eastpointe.  He enjoyed watching his WVU Mountaineers play football as well as hunting and fishing.  Later in life he took up golf and earned three holes in one while living in Florida.  Cordell is survived by his wife, Deloris Ann White Pratt Dean Luckey; three daughters, Diane Snyder and partner Bob Marchman, Grafton, Pam Hays and husband Eugene, Flemington, Tammy Connelley and husband Chris, Moorefield; two step children, Richard E Pratt II and wife Janet, Clarksburg, Crystal Peters Stevens and husband Gerald, Fairmont; grandchildren, Traci Satterfield and husband Bryan, Scott Crouse and partner Stephanie Dresp, Alishia King, Anna Vincent and husband Billy, Adam Hays and partner Dita Salcevski, Casey Connelley; step grandchildren, Amanda Haller and Randy, Ian Satterfield, Amanda Mawyer, Christina Parker, Jennifer Szendre, Paige Peters, and Patrick Stevens; numerous great grandchildren and step great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his loving dog, Cupcake; special friend of family, Lois Webb, and former step son-in-laws, Richard Crouse, Lewis, “Chip” Peters. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his first wife, Patty Lee Jenkins Luckey on June 24, 1983; two brothers, Allan Luckey and David Luckey; one sister, Jean Catania; two granddaughters, Amanda Crouse and Brittany Connelley.  Per Mr Luckey’s wishes his body was donated to WVU Human Gift Registry.  A graveside service with military honors will be held at a later date.  Online condolences can be made to www.davisfuneralhomewv.com.
