Christopher Wilson Moses

Christopher Wilson Moses, 46 of Fairmont, passed away Sunday, September 29, 2019. Chris was born January 5, 1973 in Clarksburg, WV; the son of Joseph Paul Moses of Clarksburg and the late Kathryn Eileen Sutter Hamrick.

In addition to his father, he is survived by his three children, Caitlyn Marie Moses, Christopher Anthony Moses and Carly Joanne Moses, all of Clarksburg and their mother, Lisa Marie Moses; siblings, George William Moses, Little River, SC, Jennifer Elizabeth Moses, Bridgeport, WV, Catherine Joanne Devericks and Camden Allen, Charlotte, NC and David Alexander Moses, Clarksburg, WV; stepbrother and stepsisters by marriage, Johnny Bryan,Tammy and Missy Bryan; nieces and nephews, William Moses Ross, and Caroline Stanton Rewalt and George McCain Moses and their mother, Rebecca Ann Moses; grandchildren, Adalynn Eileen Marie Shaffer and Ardynn Lee Anthony Shaffer.

Chris graduated from Washington Irving High School in Clarksburg, WV and attended the Riverside School of Aeronautics in Utica, NY. He was the owner and operator of Premier Energy Services, LLC and Coke & Float Ice Cream in Weston, WV.  He was a member of the Harrison County Chamber of Commerce, United Way, Bridgeport Country Club and Sunny Croft Country Club.

Chris lived life to the fullest and loved making others happy.  He enjoyed adventures, boating, riding his Harley-Davidson, classic cars, collecting antiques, WVU games and giving back to the community.  More than anything, he loved his family.  His beautiful smile and huge heart will be dearly missed.

Family will receive friends at Davis Funeral Home, 124 Olen Thomas Dr., Clarksburg, on Sunday, October 6, 2019 from 11:00AM until the Celebration of Life Service at 5:00 PM with Rev Rita Robinson officiating.  Following the service, a remembrance ride will take place from Davis Funeral Home to Sunny Croft Country Club for a reception.  In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations to Chris’ favorite charity, the United Way of Harrison County P.O.
