Charles Walter Singleton II, age 59, went home to be with the Lord on Monday November 5, 2018 at his home in Clarksburg, West Virginia. He was born in Fairmont, West Virginia on July 30, 1959, and is the son of Charles Walter Singleton I and Margaret Pender Singleton of Clarksburg. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his son, Charles Tres`Walter Singleton, III of Clarksburg; his daughter, Sierra Singleton, of Charlotte, NC; two sisters, Joy Singleton of Clarksburg, and Jan Singleton of Mitchellville, MD; two brothers, Craig Singleton and Christopher Jerrard (Antoinette) Singleton, both of Clarksburg and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Walter was preceded in death by his brother, Jerome Singleton. Walter was a licensed aircraft mechanic and worked in construction. He was passionate about music and was a self- taught bass player, who played in various clubs and events throughout the Clarksburg, Fairmont, and Morgantown area. He is dearly loved by his family, in life and in death. It warms our hearts to know that he is at perfect peace. In celebration of his life, there will be a memorial service at Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church at 315 E.B. Saunders Way, in Clarksburg on Wednesday November 14, 2018 at 1:00PM with Reverend Dr. Rahsaan A. Armand officiating.
