Charles “Glenn” Lafferty, 82 of Clarksburg passed away on April 16, 2018 at J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital. He was born on January 17, 1936 in Clarksburg, son of the late Walter Dean and LaVada Mae Skinner Lafferty. Charles graduated from RW High School and served in the United States Navy. He worked at The Creasey Company until it closed and then was a general contractor for Clarksburg General Contracting until retirement. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and loved spending time with his family. He is survived by his son and wife, Richard Nathan Lafferty and Cynthia, Clarksburg; four children, Tara Ann Perri and husband John, Bridgeport, Jaime Amandalee Baker, Clarksburg, Rickie Dawn Lafferty, Nutter Fort, Travis Letour Baker and companion Nikkie Wolf; nine grandchildren, Jazmine, Dakota, Tiara, Sophie, Lillie, Aislynn, Natalie, Liam, Avva; one brother, Clarence Albert Lafferty, Clarksburg; one sister, Patricia Ann Wolford, Clarksburg; several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Karen Roberta Wolford Lafferty in 2002; one great granddaughter, Allana Joy Baker in 2017; three sisters, Norma Jean Woofter, Carol Jean Bunch, Virginia Lorraine Lafferty; two brothers, Walter Keith Lafferty and James Harold Lafferty and two siblings in infancy. Family will receive friends at Davis Funeral Home, 124 Olen Thomas Drive, Clarksburg, on Friday, April 20 2018 from 11am until time of Funeral Service at 1pm with Pastor Jeff Hamlin presiding. Entombment will follow at Floral hills Memorial Gardens where military honors will be accorded by the Harrison County Honor Guard and U.S Navy Reserve.
