Charles Hibbs Obituary

Charles Hibbs, age 85 of Clarksburg, WV passed away on Friday, April 6, 2018 at Nella’s Nursing Home. He was born August 7, 1932 in Clarksburg, WV; the son of the late Carney Hibbs and Hallie (Brown) Hibbs.

Charles is survived by his two sons, Charles Stevens Hibbs of Clarksburg, WV and Randy Hibbs & his wife, Michelle of Mt Clare, WV; five grandchildren, Natasha White, Michael Newell, Sr., Clifton J Newell, Joshua Searfass and Matthew Searfass; six great grandchildren; all of her furry grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Charles is preceded in death by his wife, Minerva Ruth (Walker) Hibbs, who died on June 6, 2017; sister, Betty L. Hibbs;

Charles was a United States Army Veteran and served during the Korean Conflict. He retired from WV Flat Glass as a custodian.

There will be no visitation or services. Per his request, Charles will be cremated.
