Calvin Edward Waller

Calvin Edward Waller, age 92 of Ormond Beach, Florida formally of Clarksburg, WV, passed away on Sunday, April 2, 2017 at Halifax Health - Hospice Ormond Beach Care. He was born March 14, 1925 in Clarksburg, WV; the son of the late Charles Earl Waller and Alma (Lamb) Waller.
Calvin is survived by his nephew, Donnie Waller & his wife, Sally of Anmoore, WV; step-granddaughter, Lanell Learie of Florida; a brother, Lloyd W. Waller of Clarksburg, WV; two half-brothers, Jerry Gaines and Jack Gaines, both of Clarksburg, WV; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to his parents, Calvin was preceded in death by two brothers, Charles Waller, Jimmy Gaines; a sister, Patty Kinner.
Calvin was a U.S. Army Veteran and served in the WW II. During Calvin earlier years, he was a brick layer and later in his life he was a car salesman. He loved to work on old cars and go fishing in Florida.
Family will receive friends at Davis Funeral Home, 124 Olen Thomas Dr., Clarksburg, on Thursday, April 6, 2017 from 5:00 - 8:00 PM; Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel of Davis Funeral Home on Friday, April 7, 2017 at 1:00 PM with Pastor Peggy Williams, presiding. Interment will follow at West Virginia National Cemetery, where military honors will be accorded by Harrison County Honor Guard and the U.S Army Honor Guard.
