Betty Lou (Shaw) Shreve

Betty Lou Shreve, 92, of Clarksburg passed away on Monday, July 16, 2018 at Meadowview Manor, Bridgeport, WV. She was born on January 16, 1926 in Clarksburg, WV; the daughter of the late Charles Shaw and Pearl Collums Shaw Hartman.

Betty worked at McCroys and Snyders Hobby Shop as a sales clerk for many years.

On February 27, 1947 she married her husband, Charles Ross Shreve, who preceded her in death in 2005.

Betty is survived by her two sisters, Willa Stalnaker of Clarksburg, and Noma Hartman of Salem; and several nieces and nephews.

Along with her parents and husband, Betty is preceded in death by two brothers, George Hartman and Russell Hartman; two sisters, Patty Shreve and Marga Stalnaker, and her step father Juel Hartman.

Family will receive friends at Davis Funeral Home, 124 Olen Thomas Dr., Clarksburg, on Thursday, July 19, 2018 from 11am until time of Funeral Service at 1:00 pm with Pastor Jeffrey Stalnaker presiding. Interment will follow at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
