Betty Jane (Pigott) Mauller

Betty Jane Mauller, 92 of Clarksburg passed away Monday, November 25, 2019 at J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital with family by her side. She was born August 21, 1927 in Harrison County, WV; the daughter of the late Clayton Ellis and Esta Mabel Atha Pigott.

Betty worked at Anchor Hocking in the Select and Packing area. She was a member of Barnes Memorial Baptist Church. Her hobbies were drawing, sewing, gardening, cooking, baking, canning, and doing word search and puzzles.  She enjoyed family genealogy.    

Betty is survived by her two daughters, Cynthia “Jane” Morris and Della “Jean” Schmitz both of Nutter Fort; four grandchildren, Terry Wayne Morris and Janie, Karen Dye, Tara Lynn Carder and John, Mark Miller and Tina; fifteen great grandchildren, Keisha, Jaron, Logan, Katie, Mason, Jessica, Scott, Izabella, Danna, Aiden, Rosemarie, Andrea, Hope, Cody and Tyler; thirteen great great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her husband whom she married on August 3, 1947, Leo Boyd Mauller who on passed on September 15, 1991; grandson, Ricky Allen Morris; son-in-law, Richard Schmitz; one brother, Harold Pigott; one sister, Dortha Pigott.  

Family will receive friends at Davis Funeral Home, 124 Olen Thomas Dr., Clarksburg; on Friday, November 29, 2019 from 3:00 until 7:00 PM. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 30, 2019 at Davis Funeral Home at 11:00 AM with Rev. David Spence. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
