Barbara Christine "Chris" (Conley) Baker

Barbara Christine “Chris” Baker, 86, of Quiet Dell Community, passed away on Sunday, April 29, 2018 at United Hospital Center surrounded by her family.  She was born September 24, 1931 in Clarksburg; the daughter of the late John and Mary Kraft Conley.

Chris graduated from St Mary’s Catholic High School.  She was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening.  She loved holidays, decorating and spending time with family and grandchildren.

Chris is survived by three daughters, Linda (Arlis) Marsh, Pamela Murphy and Cheryl (Bryan) Carlin, all of Quiet Dell Community; five grandchildren, Joel Barnosky, Richard and Donald Marsh, and Eric and Kristen Cutright; great grandson, Derek Campbell; great granddaughter, Sadie Jane; brother, Mark (Ruth) Conley, Nutter Fort.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Page Baker, on February 15, 2015; one sister, Mary Margaret Weekley; five brothers, Tom, Jim, Vincent, Michael, and John “Bud” Conley.

The family requests no flowers. Memorial contributions may be made to The Mustard Seed, PO Box 2709, Clarksburg, WV 26301 in Chris’s Memory.

There will be no visitation. A graveside service will be held, Tuesday, May 1, 2018 at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens at 2:00pm with Pastor Bryant Bailey presiding.
