Alph James "Jim" Greynolds

Alph James “Jim” Greynolds, age 73 of Clarksburg, WV passed away on Tuesday, January 23, 2018 at United Hospital Center, surrounded by his loving family. He was born February 29, 1944 in Clarksburg, WV; the son of the late Gerald Greynolds and Thelma (Frye) Greynolds.

Alph is survived by his wife, Ina Jean (Mick) Greynolds of Clarksburg, WV; a son, Alph James Greynolds, Jr & his wife, Connie Jo of Hepzibah, WV; a daughter, Malissa Armstrong & her husband, TJ of Clarksburg, WV; four grandchildren, Cody Greynolds, Nicholas Greynolds, Patrick Greynolds and Tommy Armstrong; two great grandchildren, Noah Greynolds and Grace Greynolds; three brothers, Hoy Greynolds of Grovetown, GA, Bob Greynolds of Spelter, WV and Dave Greynolds of Mt Clare, WV.

In addition to his parents, Alph is preceded in death by his three brothers, Bud Greynolds, Danny Greynolds  and Carl Greynolds; a sister, Virginia.

Alph was an United States Army veteran. He was Christian by faith and was a member of the Liberty in Christ Church in Hodgesville, WV.

Family will receive friends at Davis Funeral Home, 124 Olen Thomas Dr., Clarksburg, on Friday, January 26, 2018 from 2:00 – 8:00 PM; Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel of Davis Funeral Home on Saturday, January 27, 2018 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Mike Kelley, presiding. Interment will follow at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
