Alecia "Ellen" Hurst

Alecia "Ellen" Hurst, 77 of Clarksburg, Laurel Valley Community died on Thursday, July 27, 2017 at her residence. She was born November 26, 1939, in Taylor County, daughter of the late Samuel W and Dolly M Saurborn Floyd. Ellen retired from Westinghouse/Phillips Lighting with thirty years of service. She is survived by her husband, Ernest Keith Hurst; two daughters, Traci R Ashcraft and Roderick, Morgantown, Kelli J Frazier, Weston; three grandchildren, Shana Ellen Frazier and companion Josh Runyon; Lloyd F Frazier II, Roderick Tyler Ashcraft; three great grandchildren; Natalie, Mckenleigh and Josh; three sisters, Brenda "Dottie" Leighty; Karen Wnek; Agnes McLaughlin; five brothers, Dever, Warren, Joseph, Earl Floyd and Gary Posey; numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Barbara Chambers, Geneva J Floyd; two brothers, Carl and Charles Floyd. Family will receive friends at Davis Funeral Home, 124 Olen Thomas Dr., Clarksburg, on Sunday, July 30, 2017 from 1:00-6:00pm; funeral service will be on Monday, July 31, 2017 at 11:00am with Pastor Richard Settles presiding.
