Sandra "Sandy" Lee Olsson

On a somber note, the world bid farewell to a remarkable individual, Sandra Olsson, who graced this earth with her presence on August 13, 1957 in Hammonton, New Jersey.  She peacefully departed on March 27, 2024 in Clarksburg, West Virginia, leaving behind a legacy that will forever be etched in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her.

Sandra, lovingly known as Sandy, was a beacon of light in the lives of many.  As a devoted wife to Alberta Olsson, a caring mother to John Brudon and Melliss Berggren, and a treasured memory of her late son, Sam Brudon and daughter Sandra Jo Brudon, her impact on her family was profound and everlasting.

Known for her infectious laughter and unwavering sense of humor, Sandy had a way of brining joy and levity to any situation.  Her ability to find silver linings in life’s challenges and offer comfort through laughter was truly a gift that touched the hearts of all who crossed her path.

Sandy’s joy knew no bounds when she was surrounded by her grandchildren, whom she adored beyond measure.  Creating lasting memories through games, stories, and just being present, she exemplified the true meaning of unconditional love and family bonds.  She embraced Mellis Berggren as her own daughter, exemplifying her capacity for love that extended far beyond blood relations.

Music was a soulful sanctuary for Sandy, providing solace in times of both happiness and sorrow.  The melodies that she held dear will forever be intertwined with memories of her beautiful spirit, serving as  a poignant reminder of the depth of her soul.

In addition to Alberta, John and Melliss, Sandy is mourned by her sisters, Deborah Graf and Joanne Langdon, along with numerous other relatives and friends whose lives were enriched by her presence.  As they gather to honor her life, reflect on cherished moments, and celebrate her enduring legacy, they will undoubtedly be comforted by the spirit of such an extraordinary woman.

Sandra Olsson’s departure leaves a void that can never be filled, but her memory will endure through the lessons she imparted and the love she shared.  May her remarkable legacy inspire us to embrace life with humor, love deeply, and cherish the gift of each moment.
