Rebecca Diane Downs

Rebecca Diane Downs, 69, of Clarksburg passed away on Wednesday, March 27, 2024 at United Hospital Center. She was born on March 15, 1955, in Clarksburg, WV, daughter of Ronald “Ronnie” Rogers of Mount Clare and the late Mary Eavenson Rogers.

Rebecca loved the outdoors. She enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, yard sales, and auctions. She was a member of the Eagles and the Sardis Senior Citizens Sunflowers. Rebecca loved life and was always the life of the party. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandson, Tommy.

Rebecca is survived by her husband of 49 years, Thomas Harold Downs whom she married on November 9, 1974.

In addition to her husband and father, Rebecca is survived by her daughter, Tiffany Frum and boyfriend Danny of Clarksburg; one grandson, Tommy Frum of Clarksburg; two brothers, Robin Rogers and wife Pixie, and Rodney Rogers, all of Mount Clare; her best friend, Charlotte Pumphrey of Clarksburg; longtime friends, Donna and Jack Gregory, and Bob Shaffer all of West Milford; nieces and nephews.  

In addition to her mother, Rebecca is preceded in death by her older brother, Charlie Rogers; her best friend, Wayne Edgell.
