Diana Rae Leary

Diana Rae Marsh Leary, 70, of Clarksburg, entered into eternal rest on Monday, April 22, 2024 at her home.  She was born in Clarksburg, on June 16, 1953, daughter of the late Glenn Marsh and Beatrice Moore Dunn.  She was raised by her paternal grandparents, Olen Samuel Marsh and Mary Boram Marsh.

Diana is survived by her husband of 53 years, Johnny “John” Gene Leary.

In addition to her husband, Diana is survived by her children, Vanessa (Jerame) Hamrick, Johnny Leary, Jr. and companion Jamie Walters of Mount Clare, Shannon (Tracy) Leary, all of Clarksburg, and Justin and “Libby” Leary of Centreville, MD; grandchildren, Tanna (CJ) Molisee of Morgantown, Joey Hostetter, McKenzie Hostetter and Carl Hostetter all of Clarksburg, Johnny Leary, III, Kathryn Leary, Brooklyn Leary, Dean Brown, Alexandra Leary, Samuel Leary, Adam Heater, Carissa Heater; two great grandchildren, Tiffany Hostetter, Rowan Heater; siblings, Glenn Marsh, Jr., and companion Tom, David Fisher and wife Vanessa of Lost Creek, Mary Jo Arbogast of Clarksburg, Melody Palacios and husband Oscar of Texas, and Jack Dunn and wife Renate of Texas.

Diana was a 1970 graduate of RW High School.  She was deeply devoted to her husband, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.  She loved cooking, singing karaoke and fishing.  She was employed as a letter carrier as well as a biscuit maker at Hardees on Joyce Street.

In addition to her parents, Diana is preceded in death by one daughter, Marsha Diane Leary Hostetter; siblings, Jackie Fisher, and Danny Fisher.

Family will receive friends at Davis Funeral Home 124 Olen Thomas Drive, Clarksburg on Thursday, April 25, 2024 from 10:00AM until the time of the funeral service at 12:00PM with Pastor Tim Sandy officiating.
