Tonya C. Dotson-Stephens

Tonya Dotson-Stephens, 64, Clarksburg, went to be with the Lord, Monday, October 10, 2016 at Ruby Memorial Hospital after an extended illness with her husband and daughters by her side.
She was born September 20, 1952 in Clarksburg, the daughter of the late Sanford W. Dotson and Edna F. Ashenhart Dotson McAfee. Tonya was a hardworking lady retiring from Dominion Gas after 35 years of service. She will always be remembered for being a selfless person, always willing to help others. Tonya was a member of the White Hall Church of Christ and regularly attended the Calvary United Methodist Church. She enjoyed traveling and being a member of A.A.C.A., National DeSoto and Model A Car Clubs. Most of all she loved her family and friends treasuring every moment with them.
Tonya is survived by her husband of 26 years, Carl E. Stephens; two daughters, Gena Hill-Davis and Rose Wilkinson and husband Emmett; two sons, Larry Stephens and Jerry Stephens and wife Dar; one brother, Wade Dotson and wife Nancy; ten grandchildren and five great grandchildren; many beloved nieces and nephews; and two pet dogs, Lilly and Bear.
In addition to her parents, Tonya was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Leonda Smith.
Family and friends will be received at Davis Funeral Home, 124 Olen Thomas Drive; Clarksburg on Thursday, October 13, 2016 from 2-8 pm. A service will be held Friday, October 14, 2016 at 11:00 am at the funeral home with the Pastor Brian Plum, Pastor Etheldean Yanero and Pastor Kevin Lough officiating. Interment will follow in the Chapel at Sunset Memory Gardens 1934 Dupont Rd, Parkersburg, WV.
