Tasha Marie Chipps

Tasha Marie Chipps, age 27 of Glen Falls, WV passed away suddenly on November 17, 2014 at her residence. She was born on April 6, 1987 in Clarksburg, WV, the daughter of Alma K. (Matheny) Chipps and the late John E. Chipps, Jr.

She is survived by her mother, Alma K. (Matheny) Chipps of Glen Falls, WV; Step-dad, James Leasure of Glen Falls, WV; maternal grandfather, Orphus Matheny, Sr. of Glen Falls, WV; paternal grandfather & step-grandmother, John E. Chipps, Sr. & Charlene Chipps of Clarksburg, WV; Aunt, Brenda & Ricky Riley of Glen Falls, WV; special aunt, Linda Jenkins of Buckhannon, WV; uncle, Bub & Linda Matheny of Glen Falls, WV; a special little cousin, Breanna Fry of Glen Falls, WV; two cousins, Melissa Amos of Glen Falls, WV and Amanda & Red Cook of Clarksburg, WV; three great cousins, Andrew, Anthony and Alexi of Clarksburg, WV; best friends, Jerry Lightner of West Milford, Ethan Greaver of Glen Falls, WV and Gene Jones of West Union, WV; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her father, John E. Chipps, Jr.; grandmother, Betty Chip; two great grandmothers, Beulah Goff and Virginia Bernard.

Tasha enjoyed spending time with her family, listening to music, animals and taking pictures.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, November 20, 2014 from 4:00-8:00pm and on Friday, November 21, 2014 from 12:00 - 8:00pm at Davis Funeral Home on Rt. 98 Clarksburg/ Nutter Fort.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 22, 2014 at 1:00pm in the Chapel of Davis Funeral Home with Pastor Bryant Bailey, presiding. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
