Pauline Virginia Doyle

Pauline (Grandma) Doyle, age 96, of Sun Valley peacefully departed this life on April 10, 2014 following a short illness. Pauline was born in Laurel Lee, near Lumberport on March 5, 1918. She was a daughter to the late Obert Martin, and wife to the late Thomas Paul Doyle, whom she had been married to for 59 years. She was also preceded in death by her grandson, Trevor Fluharty.
She is survived by her daughter and only child, Norma Jean (Doyle) Fluharty and husband Gary of Sun Valley, with whom she resided with for the last 14 years. In addition a granddaughter Tracey Lynn Fluharty, of Newport News, VA. Her most cherished treasured moments of laughter and love were shared with Tracey. A love filled with devotion, kindness and happiness. Everyone was a friend to her and she made everyone around her feel a sense of warmth, happiness and blessing to be a part of her life. Pauline had a laugh that would make your heart melt and sense of humor that could make you laugh into tears. She always said that she came into this world laughing, and would leave this world laughing and indeed her prayers were answered, as heaven has truly been given an angel with the presence of Pauline. Pauline was a member of the Oak Mound Evangelical Church for many years. In lieu of flowers the family ask that donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association. Mrs. Doyle's request will be honored and she will be cremated. There will be a private service held for the family.
