Paula Jane (Brasseur) Riley

Paula Jane (Brasseur) Riley, age 74, of Clarksburg, WV went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, May 25, 2016 at her residence after a brief illness. She was born September 19, 1941 in Massachusetts, the daughter of late Paul Brasseur and Alma (Hatfield) Brasseur.
Paula is survived by her husband, Michael Terry Riley of Clarksburg, WV; two daughters, Sheila (Richards) Marra & her husband, David of Clarksburg, WV and Jacquie Lynn (Richards) Duley & her husband, James of Parkersburg, WV; two sons, Craig Richards & his wife, Vickie of Vienna, WV and John Paul Richards & his wife, Connie of Washington, WV; a step-son, Jeffrey Riley of Clarksburg, WV; two special four legged friends, missy and Kissy; ten grandchildren, Tori Marra, Ashton Marra, Jacob Marra, Zakary Marra, Megan Aston, Katlyn Richards, Drake Duley, Elijah Duley, Joshua Richards, Jared Richards and Nevada (Richards) Farrar; seven great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her two brothers, jack and Alan Brasseur.
Paula worked at United Hospital Center as a unit secretary. She graduated in 1959 from Washington Irving High School, where she was very active in the Alumni Association. Paula was a member of the United Methodist Temple. She loved to crochet, help others and had a wonderful sense of humor.
Family will receive friends at Davis Funeral Home, 124 Olen Thomas Drive, Clarksburg on Friday, May 27, 2016 from 4:00 - 8:00pm; funeral service will be held in the Chapel of Davis Funeral Home on Saturday, May 28, 2016 at 11:00am with Pastor Dustin McCune, presiding. Interment will take place in Harrisville I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
