Paul Raso

Paul Joseph Raso, 63, of Clarksburg, passed away January 23, 2015 at United Hospital Center following a brief illness.

He was born March 14, 1951 in Brooklyn, NY. Paul and his family moved to West Virginia when he was 10 years old.

Paul is survived by his beloved wife of 33 years, Janet L. (Glaspell) Raso whom he married on August 1, 1981; one daughter that is his proud and joy, Jennifer L. Lewis & her husband, Joshua of Clarksburg, WV; a brother, Fred Arbonaise of Fairmont, WV; his mother, Mary D (Buttendaro) Arbonaise.

Paul graduated from Shinnston High School in 1970. He graduated from Fairmont State University with an education degree. He was an insurance agent for the Knights of Columbus. Paul went back to college and received his master's degree from WVU in special education. Paul worked for Harrison, Marion and Monongalia County as a school teacher.

He was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus.

The family will receive friends at Davis Funeral Home on Rt. 98 Clarksburg/Nutter Fort, Tuesday, January 27, 2015 from 5:00 - 8:00 pm. Catholic Funeral Rites will be held on Wednesday, January 28, 2015 at 11:00am from the chapel of Davis Funeral Home with Father D. Kent Durig, presiding. Interment will follow at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
