Nina Merritt

Nina Merritt 88, of Clarksburg, passed away Sunday, March 22, 2015 at her residence with family by her side. She was born December 10, 1926 in Clarksburg, daughter of the late Meigs Riley and Eskay Luana Davis Guinn. Nina is survived by her husband of sixty six years, Cledith Merritt; one son, Cledith "Steven" Merritt; one sister, June Deem, Stonewood; one brother, Walter Guinn and wife Sharon, Charleston, WV. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter-in-law, Janet Marie Townsend Merritt in 2012; one brother, Douglas Guinn. She was a member of the Clarksburg West Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. Friends and family will be received on Saturday, March 28, 2014 from 2:00-3:00pm. A memorial service will be held at Davis Funeral Home, 124 Olen Thomas Drive Clarksburg at 3:00pm on Saturday, March 28, 2015, with Rodney Roth presiding. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are requested to be made to the "Worldwide Work of Jehovah's Witnesses" at: Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, P.O. Box 370, Anmoore, WV 26323.
