Michele E. Knapp

Michele Elaine Knapp, age 54, of Shinnston, WV, passed away on April 29, 2015 at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV. She was born on October 21, 1960 in Clarksburg, WV, the daughter of the late Frederick R. Knapp and Sandra Sue (Jackson) Knapp.

Michele is survived by a sister, Lora Herron & her husband, Jeff of Fairmont, WV; ex-husband, Keith Kesling & his wife, Allison of Bridgeport, WV; nephew, Jeffrey Dylan Herron; niece, Jennifer Kristin Herron; uncle, James Jackson of Parkersburg, WV and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her aunt, Marilyn Jackson Wilson.

Michele worked 17 years for the United States Postal Service.

In Lieu of Flowers, memorial contribution may be made in Memory of Michele Knapp to the Humane Society of Harrison County, 2450 Saltwell Road, Shinnston, WV 26431.

The family will receive friends at Davis Funeral Home on Rt. 98 Clarksburg/ Nutter Fort on Friday, May 1, 2015 from 10:00-12:00pm, where a funeral services will be held at 12:00pm in the Chapel of Davis Funeral Home with Pastor Allen Burnsworth, presiding. Interment will follow at Bridgeport Cemetery.
