Mary Estelle Toothman

Mary Estelle Toothman, age 60, of Clarksburg, WV passed away on Saturday, August 23, 2014 at United Hospital Center.

Ms. Toothman was born on March 21, 1954 in California a daughter to Daniel Lee and Shirley Ann Flickner Toothman. Mary graduated from South Harrison High School where she was the featured twirler and the first fire twirler. She then went on to school to become a nurse and went to work for UHC where she worked for over 30 years later going to the radiology department at UHC. She volunteered for 24 years at Camp Catch Your Breath, was a Cub Scout Leader, was a member and attended Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Clarksburg, was an avid crafter, gardener, and loved baking cakes. She was preceded in death by her grandson, David Toothman.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Jessie and Mason Helmick, of West Milford; son and daughter-in-law, Sparky and Jessica Toothman, of SC; 9 grandchildren, Jordan Aguayo, Kane Benson, Trevor Toothman, Kaiden Helmick, Dominick Wigfall, Alyssa Benson, Audrey Toothman, Olivia Toothman, and Addie Helmick; brother, Jerry Toothman, of SC; sister, Elizabeth Castillo, of VA; several cousins, nieces and nephews also survive.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 27, 2014 from 3:00-7:00pm at Davis Funeral Home on Rt. 98 in Clarksburg/Nutter Fort. Funeral Services will then be held at the 7 o'clock hour from the Chapel of Davis Funeral Home with Bishop David W. Frame, presiding.
Honoring Mary's wishes following the service she will be cremated and a private interment will be held.
