Marvin Dean Palmer

Marvin Dean Palmer, age 79, of Clarksburg, WV passed away on March 27, 2015 United Hospital Center. He was born in 1936 in Westfield, Pennsylvania, son of the late Emmett C. Palmer and Gertrude V. (Hunt) Palmer.

Dean is survived by his wife of 50 years, Faye (Jackman) Montgomery Palmer; two sons, Steve Montgomery & his wife, Carolyn of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Robert Palmer & Lynn Ehmann of Phoenix, Arizona; a daughter, Betsy Straley & her husband, Barnet of Mt. Clare, WV; three grandchildren, Matt & Julie Dutchess, Amy & David Miller and Kaleb Straley; five great grandchildren, Colton Dutchess, Grey Miller, Everett Miller, Jameson Miller and Ellie Miller; two brothers, John Palmer & his wife, Bobbi of Orlando, Florida, Terry Palmer of Delton, Florida, and one sister, Virginia Edwards of Angleton, Texas.

Dean served four years in the United States Air Force as a linguist/liaison, stationed in Taiwan. He was the owner and operator of TSS Photography from 1986 - 2009. Dean also was the manager at Bridgeport Tire, Sales Manager at Alker Tire and a District Sales Manager for Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company.

Dean and his wife, Faye celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary this past December. He loved his family, Tybee Island, Georgia, Phoenix, Arizona, his cat Annie, and the New York Yankees.

There will be no visitation, however a memorial service will be held at a later date.
