Madeline Ruth Pritt

Madeline Ruth Pritt, 94, of Bridgeport passed away Monday, November 16, 2015 at Genesis Nursing and Rehab.
She was born January 3, 1921 in Mt. Clare, WV; daughter of the late Uri Hezikiah Grimes and Mae Jeffries Grimes Snyder.
Madeline is survived by two daughters, Wanda and Richard Knapp of Canton, OH, Wilma and Gary Simmons of Rosemont; one son, Lynn and Patricia Pritt of Bridgeport; one sister, Elsie Alltop of Cox Mills; two brothers, Clark Grimes of Cincinnati, OH, Uri Hezikiah Grimes of Bridgeport; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; many great great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in by her husband, Hoy Paul Pritt; five daughter, Ruth Swenskie, Arlene Lewis, Freda McAtee, Nelda Bragg, Reva Sharon Pritt; two sons, Paul Pritt, Alva Pritt; four brothers, Albert Grimes, Roy Grimes, Floyd Grimes, Russell Grimes; three sisters, Hazel Sprouse, Ruby Pumphrey, Barbara Marks.
Family will receive friends at Davis Funeral Home, Rt. 98 Clarksburg/Nutter Fort on Wednesday, November 18, 2015 from 2:00-4:00pm and 6:00-8:00pm; funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 19, 2015 at 11:00am with Reverend Jim Metheny officiating. Interment will follow in Greenlawn Masonic Cemetery.
