James Leon "Jimmy" Donofrio

James Leon "Jimmy" Donofrio, age 67, of Fairmont, WV passed away on July 9, 2016 at Ruby Memorial Hospital surrounded by his family by his side. He was born July 18, 1948 in Fairmont, WV; the son of the late Adriano Donofrio and Mary (Scarella) Donofrio.

James is survived by his wife, Joyce (Snyder) Donofrio of Fairmont, WV; a daughter, Kimberly Brotosky & her husband, Rodd of Fairmont, WV; two sons, Ryan Donofrio & his wife, Melissa of Morganton, WV and Tony Donofrio of Fairmont, WV; a grandson, Austin Sprowls of Fairmont, WV; mother-in-law, Mary Rosalie Snyder of Davis, WV; six sister-in-laws, Gussie Wilson & her husband, Ed of Manassas, VA; Rosalie Winters & her husband, Keith of Eglon, WV, Linda Mierisch & her husband, George of Centerville, VA, Marian Browning & her husband, Jim of Grafton, WV, Karen Hamner & her husband, Steve of Bel Alton, MD and Sharon Biasatti & her husband, Brian of Virginia Beach, VA; two brother-in-laws, John Snyder & his wife, Connie of Mt. Storm, WV and Joe Snyder & his wife, Debbie of Thomas, WV; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Gary Donofrio.

James retired from Consol Energy after 30 years. He was a member of Covenant Church, and the UMWA of America.

Family will receive friends at Covenant Church, 17 Everlasting Drive, Fairmont on Tuesday, July 12, 2016 from 4:00pm until time of service at 6:00pm with Pastor Josh Morgan, presiding. Cremation to follow after services.
